The Kogi State Government is set to endorse the Kogi State Youth Digital Marketing and Social Media Monetization Programme. This transformative initiative is spearheaded by the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Resource Mobilization to the Governor, Engr. Habib Amoka, and the Special Adviser on Community Relations, Hon. Isah Albert Omeiza, in partnership with Bamsiak General Enterprise.
The programme is designed to provide Kogi youths with hands on training in digital marketing, social media monetization, e-commerce, and content creation, key skills necessary for success in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy.
Recognizing the urgent need to empower young people with marketable skills, Hon. Habib Amoka and Hon. Isah Albert Omeiza have jointly subsidized 50% of the training costs, ensuring that selected participants can access this opportunity at a significantly reduced rate. This initiative aligns with the state government’s commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and economic development through technology driven solutions.
Speaking on the initiative, Engr. Habib Amoka emphasized the importance of equipping young people with digital skills that will enable them to become self reliant and competitive in the global market. He stated, “The world is shifting towards a digital economy, and it is imperative that our youths are not left behind. This programme will provide them with the knowledge and tools needed to generate income, build sustainable businesses, and contribute meaningfully to the economy.”
Similarly, Hon. Isah Albert Omeiza reiterated the state government’s dedication to creating opportunities for young people, highlighting the programme as a crucial step toward reducing unemployment and encouraging innovation. “By investing in digital skills training, we are giving our youths the power to shape their futures and drive economic growth in Kogi State,” he noted.
The collaboration with Bamsiak General Enterprise ensures that participants will receive industry standard training from experienced professionals. The programme will cover key areas such as online branding, audience engagement, search engine optimization (SEO), social media strategy, and monetization techniques for platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Aspiring participants are encouraged to take advantage of this initiative, as enrollment is set to begin soon. With the government’s strong backing, this programme is expected to create a new wave of digitally skilled entrepreneurs and professionals in Kogi State, paving the way for economic empowerment and technological advancement.
